A New Trick for Lebron?

The Wade-less Heat dismantled the Lakers tonight in a 98-87 victory that wasn't even as close as the score suggests. Lebron put up another all-around dominating performance with 31 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals, 3 blocks, and 1 new move we haven't seen from him before. Watch below as he twice attacks Bynum in the paint, both times finishing with a balanced jumpstop a one-handed floater in the lane a la Tony Parker. This is the kind of body control Lebron needs to have when driving through the lane to avoid the charges everyone is now trying to take on him.

Other game notes:

  • Mike Miller went down hard in the first half after taking a World Peace elbow to the face.
  • Eddy Curry saw his first court time in over 2 years. The 29 year-old veteran has reportedly lost as much as 80 pounds over the last 8 months in an effort to return to the NBA. Curry finished with 6 points and 3 rebounds in his 6 minutes of play.
  • All 10 Heat players scored tonight.
Next up for the Heat is Philadelphia on Saturday, currently the biggest surprise of the NBA.
